SAGINAW COUNTY, MI – Saginaw Intermediate School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Hubbard as a trustee to our Board of Education, where she will serve from 2023 to 2029. With a wealth of experience, energy, and passion for education, Ms. Hubbard's appointment is a significant addition to the Board.

"She currently serves as Secretary of Frankenmuth School District’s Board of Education and has already achieved several levels of educational leadership training offered by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB). We look forward to collaborating with Ms. Hubbard in Saginaw ISD’s mission is to serve, innovate, and empower.”
Lisa Hubbard added, "I am grateful and humbled to have been elected to serve with this team of professionals and educators across the county. In addition to serving on Frankenmuth School District’s Board of Education, Ms. Hubbard is a sixth-grade special education teacher for Birch Run Area Schools. She has previous experience as a fifth-grade teacher at Lakeview School District and a Title I Math Support and Language Arts teacher at Valley View Elementary School. Ms. Hubbard is an active community member as the former Vice President for Harper Creek Community Schools' Board of Education and a Fellow for the Michigan Political Leadership Program at Michigan State University.
Ms. Hubbard’s academic history includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Concordia University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Concordia Seminary. She also completed a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from Michigan State University.
The Saginaw ISD Board of Education meets at 5:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted) at the Saginaw Intermediate School District Transitions PD Center. Special meetings and/or alternate meeting locations are made by the call of the chair. Alternative locations include

ABOUT SAGINAW INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT
Saginaw Intermediate School District (ISD) is an educational service agency that provides effective and innovative leadership, services, resources, and programs throughout Saginaw County. Saginaw ISD provides career and technical education, early childhood, finance, human resources, instruction, pupil accounting, special education, technology, and transportation services.
