#DidYouKnow Brunkow Preschool is named after Charles F. Brunkow? He resided in Buena Vista Township and played a pivotal role in the development of the neighborhood where the school stands today. Brunkow served on the BV Zoning Board, and interestingly, his house still stands. To honor his memory, the Saginaw Community Foundation established the Charles F & Edith E Memorial Scholarship, which supports Buena Vista residents pursuing undergraduate/graduate degrees or Career and Technical Education (CTE) training. #SaginawISD

#DidYouKnow Brucker Preschool is named after Wilber Marion Brucker? He was born in Saginaw and later became the 32nd governor of Michigan. Additionally, he was appointed by President Eisenhower as Secretary of the Army. During his tenure, he established a pentagonal organization known as the Strategic Army Corps for Emergency Reaction. He also played a significant role in the adoption of the U.S. 1st satellite, Explorer I, and the Army Flag. #SaginawISD
