Assistive Technology (AT) aims to provide access and increase opportunities for students to actively participate, engage, and learn within educational environments. It includes products, services, equipment, and systems that enhance learning, functional skills, and daily living for students with disabilities.
The Saginaw Intermediate School District Assistive Technology (SISD-AT) Team is dedicated to ensuring every student has the chance to experience a thoughtfully designed, inclusive, and equitable educational program.
Our mission is to ensure that every student has access to Assistive Technology in their daily lives. The SISD AT team works closely with students and families to overcome barriers and enable students to participate fully in their schools, homes, and communities.
We collaborate with stakeholders to promote positive student outcomes by empowering students, staff, families, and community members to integrate accessible Assistive Technology into all aspects of everyday life.
