Saginaw Intermediate School District (ISD) is excited to welcome Bill Taylor as our new Payroll Coordinator and to congratulate him on completing his Business Office Manager certification from Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO). This achievement highlights Bill's dedication to professional development and enhances his role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll operations. Bill brings over 10 years of experience in school payroll processing and accounting, having worked both at an ISD and a local district. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting from Northwood University, and has also completed his School Payroll Specialist certification from MSBO. His expertise in managing payroll for multiple school districts ensures a valuable addition to our team in the areas of efficiency and compliance.
In this important role, Bill will oversee payroll operations for Saginaw ISD, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across multiple departments. With a focus on optimizing payroll systems and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations, Bill will contribute significantly to the district’s ongoing efforts to support its staff and students effectively. His deep understanding of school payroll processes will be invaluable as the district continues to expand its services.

Bill’s background is diverse, including accounting experiences in the oil and medical industries in addition to his 11 years in school finance. He previously worked at Huron ISD for eight years and at North Huron Schools for nearly three years, where his responsibilities included payroll and grant accounting. Bill’s recent completion of the MSBO Business Manager Academy in June 2024 further underscores his commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in the field of school finance.

Over the past 11 years in school finance, I’ve had the opportunity to refine my skills in both ISD and local district settings. Bill Taylor is the Payroll Coordinator for the Saginaw Intermediate School District. He brings over 10 years of experience in school payroll processing and accounting, having worked for both an Intermediate School District and a local district. Bill holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northwood University, as well as associate degrees in Business Management and Skilled Trades from Delta College. His career in accounting spans both the oil and medical industries, in addition to his 11 years in school finance. Bill completed the School Payroll Specialist program through Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) and the MSBO Business Manager Academy in June 2024. Bill is excited to contribute his expertise to the Saginaw ISD payroll team.

Saginaw Intermediate School District (ISD) is an educational service agency that provides effective and innovative leadership, services, resources, and programs throughout Saginaw County.
