FREE PRE K

Saginaw ISD is excited to share that enrollment is still open for the Free PreK for All initiative, starting in fall 2024. This program provides free, high-quality early education to all four-year-olds across Michigan, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and build a solid foundation for future learning.

The PreK for All initiative is part of Governor Whitmer's MI-Leap effort, expanding access to early childhood education and building upon Michigan’s well-known Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). By enrolling your child in PreK, you’re giving them the tools they need for a bright start in education and setting them up for long-term success.

Why Choose Free PreK for All?

  • High-Quality Education: Ranked #1 in the nation for quality, Michigan’s PreK program prepares children for success in kindergarten and beyond.

  • Cost Savings: PreK for All is completely free, saving families an average of $10,000 a year.

  • Social and Emotional Development: Through play-based learning, children develop essential social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and teamwork.

  • Comprehensive Program: Our programs include 4- or 5-day options, with before and aftercare and transportation provided.
