Saginaw Intermediate School District would like to wish a "Happy National IT Professionals Day" to our unsung heroes in the Technical Services department. The department has 15 staff members that help create conditions necessary for schools to effectively use technology for learning, teaching, educational management, and community collaboration. The Saginaw ISD Technology Department has two distinct components – Technical Services and Saginet. Saginet is a fiber-optic network that connects Saginaw County school districts to the Saginaw ISD for a number of shared services, including safe connectivity to the internet, server and storage services, and more.
Technical Services provides technology leadership and infrastructure services, as well as fleet management and repair of educator and learner devices, for a number of LEAs and ISDs in both Saginaw and Midland counties.
