Heritage High School and Saginaw Career Complex Hospitality students explored careers in Hospitality, Tourism, Sports Management, and Event Planning during a Talent Tour in the Great Lakes Bay Region. They toured the Dow Event Center with Kevin Murphy to learn about event planning and sports tourism with Tim Shelton of Go Great Lakes Bay. At Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge & Restaurant, Randy Hegenauer introduced them to Michigan’s largest waterpark, while Kayla Pink shared insights on leisure tourism. The students enjoyed a day of inspiration and hands-on learning about the hospitality industry!
