In the historic state budget just signed into law, tens of thousands of Michigan families with young children became income eligible for public assistance to help with the cost of child care. Do families in your community know they are eligible? Do you have an idea to help families navigate the system and access the services they need? Apply for a Mini Grant from #ThinkBabiesMI. Applications are due December 1, 2021. Parent groups and community-based organizations that work with BIPOC and rural communities are strongly encouraged to apply. https://www.ecic4kids.org/2021/10/05/mini-grant/

🙌 Thankful Thursday! 🙌 Huge thank you to the Yeo & Yeo Foundation for their gift of $2,250 to support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. These funds will provide books every month for our youngest community members. Did you know that United Way of Saginaw County is an Imagination Library partner agency in collaboration with Saginaw ISD? Because of this partnership, we are able to provide this amazing program to Saginaw County residents. In 2020, we were able to send 32,361 books to 4,712 kiddos in Saginaw County because of generous donors like this. If you'd like to sponsor a child please consider a donation at https://bit.ly/United4Literacy or text United4Literacy to 41444. If you'd like to sign your child up to receive books, head to https://www.unitedwaysaginaw.org/imagination-library for the sign up form and for more information. #LiveUnited #ImaginationLibrary #BooksForKids #DoingMIPart #SaginawCountyStrong #SaginawISD
